Yasmin Faruki


Yasmin serves as an Associate at WestExec Advisors. Previously, she completed a Boren Fellowship and received a Fulbright award to Amman, Jordan, where she supported the UN Development Programme on a project related to Syrian refugees.

Prior to her fellowship, Yasmin served in a variety of roles in the public sector and academia, including at the U.S. House Foreign Affairs Committee, the Center for a New American Security (CNAS), and Deloitte.

Yasmin graduated magna cum laude from an accelerated dual-degree program at Georgetown University’s Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service. She earned a master’s degree with distinction in Security Studies and a bachelor’s degree in Regional & Comparative Studies. She is a certified speaker of Arabic after three years of intensive language study and travel to the region.
