Washington, D.C. – September 14, 2026 – WestExec Advisors congratulates Senra Systems on receiving a $4.4 million award through the Defense Industrial Base Accelerator (DIBX) competition for AMP-X, its deployable wire-harness manufacturing capability.
Senra’s approach directly addresses production and workforce challenges that Deputy Secretary of War Steve Feinberg has identified as priorities for strengthening the industrial base: expanding manufacturing capacity, improving supply-chain resilience, developing the skilled workforce needed to support higher production rates, and increasing surge capacity.
AMP-X is designed to help address those challenges by expanding production capacity for wire harnesses, essential components across major defense systems that can constrain broader defense and aerospace production and sustainment. The model combines deployable manufacturing capacity with a workforce approach designed to bring new workers into the defense industrial base and prepare them for defined production roles.
“Senra is exactly the kind of company we’re proud to partner with: an exceptional team solving a real and important defense industrial base challenge,” said Johnnie Kaberle, Senior Managing Director at WestExec Advisors. “Capacity without labor is not capacity, and what makes Senra’s approach especially compelling is that they are tackling both sides of the problem: the manufacturing infrastructure itself and the workforce needed to operate it. This award is a well-deserved recognition of what Jordan and the team have built, and we’re excited to continue working with them as they scale.”
WestExec works with Senra as the company grows its defense business, helping the team navigate the national security market and align its strategy, positioning, and capabilities with priority defense needs.
The DIBX award marks an important milestone for Senra as it continues to expand its manufacturing capacity and workforce capabilities in support of the defense industrial base.
